Despite the rise of AI-driven voice assistants and industrial automation, we’re still far off from living like the Jetsons with robots in our homes.

While on our way there, the delta lies in how machines learn. They currently lack the software layer, which is the machine intelligence to make robots useful and ubiquitous across every industry and aspect of life.

In a thought-provoking presentation by Vicarious Robotics CEO, Scott Phoenix, he reveals how the true industrial automation will happen when robots ‘think’ like humans.

Scott also predicts that in 15 years there will be more robots than cell phones. He closes by posing the question, “If labor has a dramatic decrease in cost, how does that change your business?”
