There have been some interesting articles in major media outlets like HBR and WSJ about the catalog’s comeback, so we used our weekly survey of consumers, BOXpoll, to find out what consumers thought of catalogs in the era of shop-at-home norms.

3 in 4 consumers say they’re likely to browse or save a catalog versus throwing it away immediately. As consumers look for ideas and inspiration, digitally native brands are seeing the catalog as a greenfield opportunity. Brands are seeing astonishing returns compared to the usual fare of social ads and email promos. A luxury retailer ran a controlled test showing nearly 2x repeat sales among existing customers when compared to email promotions alone.
